Individual Psychotherapyunderstand what's underneath
Therapy can be a space to slow things down, make sense of what keeps showing up, and better understand the experiences, relationships, beliefs, and patterns that shape how you move through the world.
You don’t need to have the perfect words for what’s going on. We can start with what you know — and get curious about the rest together.
is therapy with me, for you?
You might find our work helpful if you:
understand something logically, but still find yourself reacting the same emotional way
notice patterns in your relationships that you want to understand more deeply
feel anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out, disconnected, or stuck
struggle with boundaries, self-worth, procrastination, or emotional regulation
are navigating a major transition or questioning who you are becoming
want to understand how past experiences continue to shape the present
are exploring culture, identity, faith, spirituality, or experiences of religious harm
simply know that something feels off, even if you can’t fully explain why
You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes curiosity is enough to begin.
what happens in the first session?
The first session is less about having everything figured out and more about beginning to understand the bigger picture.
We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what life has been feeling like lately, relevant experiences from your past and present, and what you might want to be different.
You’ll also have space to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
There’s no expectation that you tell me everything at once. Trust takes time, and therapy can move at a pace that feels manageable for you.
